Tech Shop UK is an online retail store operating on a dropshipping model, meaning we work with carefully vetted third-party suppliers and manufacturers to fulfil customer orders. This shipping policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered. It is designed to be transparent and fair to customers, while protecting Tech Shop UK from fraudulent or misleading claims.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.
1. Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Processing typically takes 1–3 working days after payment is confirmed.

During peak periods (e.g. holidays or sales), processing may take longer. We will notify you in such cases via email.

Once processed, your order is sent directly to our supplier or manufacturer for fulfilment.
2. Shipping Origins & Methods

We primarily source products from UK-based warehouses to ensure faster delivery.

Some items may be shipped directly from our international partners, including warehouses in the European Union, China, or other regions, depending on product availability and supplier assignment.

Delivery is fulfilled through standard or tracked courier services such as Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, DHL, or equivalent.
Please note: Tech Shop UK does not dispatch items from our own UK office or warehouse. All items are sent directly from the supplier to the customer.

Delays may occur due to courier issues, public holidays, strikes, severe weather, or customs inspections. Tech Shop UK has no control over third-party logistics once items are shipped.
4. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

For goods shipped from outside the UK (such as China or the EU), customs duties, VAT, or other import charges may apply in accordance with UK law post-Brexit.

These charges are not included in the purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.

Failure to pay import charges may lead to delivery refusal, abandonment of the parcel, or return to sender. No refund will be issued in such cases.
5. Tracking & Notifications

Where available, tracking information will be provided by email once the item is dispatched.

Some tracking numbers may take 48–72 hours to activate, depending on the supplier and courier.

Not all shipping methods may include tracking, especially for low-cost or promotional items.
6. Multi-Item Orders

Orders containing multiple items may be fulfilled from different suppliers and arrive in separate packages.

7. Delayed or Lost Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe:

8. Failed Delivery Attempts & Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details at checkout.

If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address or repeated missed delivery attempts, Tech Shop UK will not cover any additional charges for redelivery or refunds.

If your order is returned to the supplier due to incorrect information, re-shipping will incur an extra fee, and refund eligibility may be limited.
9. Damaged Parcels

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if possible, or take clear photos of the damage before opening.

Failure to provide sufficient evidence may result in partial or no refund.
10. Pre-Shipment Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled before the item has been processed or shipped.

Once an item is marked as dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible.

If your item has not shipped within 10 working days, you may request cancellation and receive a full refund.
